Princess of Steel is a heroic Caribbean coming-of-age story that fuses cultural pride with crucial STREAM (Science, Tech, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Math) education. Set against the aftermath of a devastating hurricane, 15-year-old Brianna Harrison must overcome her debilitating stage fright and the public scrutiny following a personal scandal. When her legendary father is injured protecting her, Brianna is forced to step into his shoes and unite a fragmented community. Using the innovative power of the steelpan, an instrument born from resilience, Brianna, alongside her friends, work to rebuild her community and ultimately, find her own resilient voice.
